Named For Its Calorie-Holding Capacity, The Mag-Tank 2000 Features A Tapered Wedge Shape That Gives It Impressive Volume Yet Offers A Slim Profile At Its Base. A Locking Cam Provides A Secure Attachment To The Front, Whilst Still Utilizing The Adjustable Daisy Chain To Allow For Play Of The Stem Clamp Bolts. The Closed-Cell Bag’S Foam-Lined Base And Reinforced Side Panels Provide Protection And Structure For Food And Electronics With The Convenience Of Quick, One-Handed Access. Please Note: Although The Cover Of This Bag Is Designed To Repel Rain And Mist, It Is Not A Sealed Bag Or Waterproof Bag Due To The Large Panel Opening. Additionally, While The Closure Is Secure, There Is A Possibility That Small Or Loose Items Could Come Out Of The Bag From Rough Trails Or When The Bike Is On Its Side. Revelate Founder Eric Parsons And Friend Dan Bailey Cycled On Their Mountain Bike Tour To The Indian Himalayas In 2001. The Pair Towed Trailers Over Some Of The Highest Motorized Passes In The World (Over 5000 Metres!). Along The Way, They Noticed That Trailers Are Difficult To Move And Are Another Large Piece Of Equipment That Can Fail. The Handlebar Bag Was The First Handlebar Bag Of Its Kind In 2009 With A Drybag And A Removable Front Pocket. Since Then, This Has Been The Standard For Handlebar Bags.
